Please do yourself a favor and detangle your hair in sections. I have made this mistake several times trying to rush through my detangling session and not taking my time to do it in sections. By detangling your hair in sections, you make it easier for yourself. Trust me you don’t want to do this task with huge sections. Your arms will hurt and it will not be a wise choice for your hair. Use clips to help you section off your hair with the process to make life that much easier!

Please remember detangle your hair sections by section, don’t try to work them all in one time. It’s easier to detangle and it can save your time actually compare to rush all your hair in one time. If your hair is long, a wide-tooth comb will help distribute conditioner and de-tangle snarls. Just start at the ends and work your way up with the comb gently.

For thick hair, you’ll need a flat paddle comb that can make its way through all of your hair without breaking a sweat.

For curly hair, a wide-tooth wooden or bristle comb is good to skin and hair.

Hair is consisted of protein, so it will be easier to detangle the hair for adding some water in normal case. Because of the cotton material will absorbs all the moisture, leaving you dry and frizzy the next morning. While the silk or stain pillowcase will maintain the oil nourishing your hair.

Pineapple your hair into a high ponytail and tie a protective silk scarf around your pony to help your curls retain even more moisture. That would be better to fight tangles away from your hair. 7. Detangle While in the Shower

If your hair is highly textured or damaged badly, you might want to detangle it in shower. Loosening up the knots with your fingers after shampooing your hair properly. But remember don’t get your hair in wet for a long time.
